First, the preparatory work before renovation

1. Site survey: before the epoxy floor renovation, the current situation of the workshop floor for a comprehensive survey, detailed records of the ground damage, crack width, shelling range and so on. In the process of scraping, the flatness of the coating should be checked with a ruler at any time, and the uneven place should be repaired in time. After the construction of the middle coating, need to wait for 12 - 24 hours, until it is fully cured before sanding.

3. Sanding and Vacuuming: After the medium coat has cured, sand the surface with a sanding machine to smooth the surface and remove any particles and bumps that may be present. After sanding, vacuum cleaner is used again to fully vacuum the floor to ensure that the ground is clean and dust-free.

4. Topcoat construction: Mix the epoxy topcoat with the hardener in the correct proportion and apply the topcoat evenly on the medium coat using a roller or spray gun. The function of top coat is to provide beautiful surface effect and good abrasion and corrosion resistance. When applying the topcoat, it is usually necessary to apply 2 - 3 coats, with a waiting time of 6 - 8 hours between coats, until the previous topcoat has dried before the next one is applied. When painting the last topcoat, you can add the right amount of anti-slip agent to improve the anti-slip performance of the floor.
